We’ve got to protect our right to vote. Right now the SC State Senate is debating the Voter Photo ID Bill (H3418).
This bill is unnecessary, costly and would create more problems at the polls. It would significantly, negatively, and disportionately impact elderly, low-income, minority and disabled voters.
Our State Senate will be voting on in it soon. Please call you Senator NOW and voice your opposition to this bill:

Thank you to all the individuals and organizations that made our first Ties that Bind conference such a success. A special thanks to all our guest speakers and presenters.
We pulled together a diverse group of 175 people from across the state to think and talk together about some of the toughest issues facing working and middle class people in South Carolina — and to develop a shared issue agenda to make our economy work for working families. You can see materials from the conference here.
We should all be proud of this new coalition we’re building. Thanks again.
